ABOUT ASHLIE

Ashlie Zeidler (RYT200) tried power yoga hoping to find something deeper than just exercise, and was instantly drawn to the empowering and invigorating practice. As she committed to her home practice, she fell in love, embracing the mindful and self-aware side of yoga as well as the physical asana. She recently trained and became certified through Community Soul Yoga, her 'home studio' in Wausau. Making the shift from student to teacher has allowed Ashlie to share her passion and knowledge of yoga in a bigger way. She loves the yoga community in the Central-Wisconsin area and hopes to bring inspiration from her home practice into the lives of students by guiding them in a powerful yoga flow that combines intuitive movement, breath, and a gratifying focus on living in the present moment.

FOCUS

A regular yoga practice trains your mind to approach challenges from a state of calm alertness, which reduces stress and improves success wherever you are planted.

ALIGNMENT

Yoga is designed to work with the body's natural range of motion, using body weight as resistance to build strength, and stacked alignment to support the spine and joints. It's an ideal low-impact, full-body activity that will still get your heart rate up.

OPENNESS

The activities you spend your life doing often contribute to tightness in your body. A flow practice is designed to build heat in the first portion of class, so muscles are relaxed and able to stretch during the second portion. Deep stretch classes offer poses in gradual intensity designed to target connective tissue. It's a great balance to a regular power practice.
